  • You do not have to provide any info to Dropt Solutions. We'll work with your building's property management to collect you Full Name, Email, Phone Number and Apartment #. It is important that you keep your Property Management up to date on your latest email and phone number.

  • We recommend that you ask someone to pick it up for you. Depending on the policy of your building, your property management may have a rule in place that will result in you being charged a nominal fee if your package isn’t picked up within a specified time. Please consult your property management team for further details.

FAQs for Staff & Property Managers

  • We offer three different purchasing programs and they are: ownership, leasing, and rent-to-own.

  • It all depends on what the customer wants. Our job is to take care of your needs. Our control unit locker can control 15 additional add-on lockers. Therefore, you can purchase a total of 16 lockers that are controlled by one control unit. If you still need more, another control will enable you to control an additional 15 add-on lockers. You can mix and match the size of the locker compartments.

  • It all depends on your policy. Staff and property managers can bypass any setting at any time if there are any concerns.

  • Different properties have unique needs and unique budgets. With more packages being delivered and everything being connected to the internet these days, staff are overwhelmed. Depending on your needs, we can help create a unique solution for your needs.

  • Our lockers reduce administrative costs associated with security/concierge manually handling packages and they increase the value of your property. You can generate additional revenue for your property by installing smart lockers. Ask us how.

  • Our software will trigger perioding reminders (email and text messages). Your administrator staff will have access to a dashboard where they can monitor late pick-ups and trigger additional notifications. Furthermore, it all depends on your policy and how many packages your property receives daily. We encourage property managers to put a time limit on how long a package should stay in a locker. To incentivize tenants, we recommend that you charge them a small fee depending on the size of the package. You may also consider a policy which would result in a package being sent back to the courier after a certain period of time. Otherwise, the property may need to increase the number of add-on lockers to accommodate the lack of available lockers for new deliveries.

  • We recommend property managers send us an updated list of their tenants/customers names and/or ordering information. Depending where the smart locker is being utilized (retail, commercial, residential, college campuses), the updates may need to be updated more frequently due to the nature of the pickup/delivery services being rendered.

  • No. With any of our smart lockers, you do not have to do anything. Let us worry about taking care of your tenants and/or customers.

  • Yes of course! However, it depends on the type of purchase program that is agreed upon.

    For leasing, Dropt Solutions offers full technical and maintenance services for the duration of the lease agreement. For ownership and rent-to-own options, we offer a 1-year warranty. Keep in mind, that the warranty does not cover vandalism or excessive damage.

  • All we need is an internet connection (wifi or wired connection) and power (110 voltage). The dimensions of each locker are 35.5" W x 19.75" D x 79.5" H (90.17cm W x 50.16cm D x 201.93cm H.)

  • Yes! It is important to us that our lockers fit the vibe and theme of your building. We can provide custom wraps for your lockers. Just provide us with the logos/pictures you would want on the lockers.

  • Yes! It is a feature we highly recommend.

FAQs for Couriers

  • Build's Property Management team will typically assign each courier with a unique access code. This access code will give the courier access to all tenants in the building. Tenants can be looked up by first name, last name, or by the unit #. Select the tenant/unit # the package is for, select the size of the package, place the package inside the locker, and close the locker door.

  • If you have a courier access code and access to the building, you can drop off packages 24/7.

  • We recommend that you contact the building management team to open the locker for you.
